Founded in 2021 by Sheldon Wolitski, Colorado Extreme is a nonprofit dedicated to growing the game of hockey in the Roaring Fork Valley. From their first strides on the ice to competitive play, we develop young athletes from the mid-valley and beyond — building strong skaters, sharpening skills, and instilling the confidence that comes from earning it. But more than anything, we're here to make hockey fun. Because when kids fall in love with the game, everything else follows: the work ethic, the teamwork, and the friendships that last long after the final buzzer.
