Founded in 2021, Colorado Extreme began with a simple mission: to offer free hockey to kids in the Roaring Fork Valley. Since then, we’ve impacted the lives of more than 500 players, providing over 300 sets of gear and introducing countless children to the game of hockey.

Our mission has always been clear — to break down financial barriers and create an inclusive space where kids from all backgrounds can experience the joy of hockey.

Today, we’ve grown to multiple locations and added competitive travel teams through 18U, but our commitment remains the same: to make hockey accessible to everyone. While our 10U–18U travel programs do include fees, they are largely subsidized so that more families can participate in competitive hockey without facing prohibitive costs. At the same time, our Learn to Skate sessions remain completely free, and our 6U/8U programs continue to provide gear, coaching, and ice time at no cost to families.

Colorado Extreme is more than a hockey program — it’s a community dedicated to ensuring every child has the chance to lace up their skates and play the game we love.
