Aries Mustoe was a highly skilled goaltender for Merrimack College’s women’s ice hockey team and has recently expanded her role within the sport by becoming the goalie coach for Colorado Extreme. Originally from Grimsby, Ontario, Mustoe grew up playing in competitive youth leagues in Canada, where she developed her goaltending talent. She made her NCAA debut during the 2020-21 season, recording an impressive 28 saves in her first collegiate game against the University of New Hampshire, showcasing her potential as a top-tier goalie.
Her performance continued to evolve throughout her time with the Merrimack Warriors, where she became known for her reflexes, poise under pressure, and leadership on and off the ice. As a seasoned player in the competitive Hockey East Association, Mustoe's expertise in the crease has made her a valuable asset to her team.
Now, Mustoe is imparting her knowledge and skills to the next generation of athletes as the goalie coach for Colorado Extreme, a youth hockey program dedicated to developing elite players. In her role with Colorado Extreme, she works with young goalies, providing them with mentorship, technical training, and guidance. Her dual role as both a player and coach highlights her deep commitment to the game, and her influence will undoubtedly shape the future of goaltending talent in Colorado.
